Ron Deuce You’ve probably never wondered what a band playing the style of Cursed meets Unsane would sound like and quite frankly neither have I. Turns out those two bands are a perfect match for breeding. Germany’s Wayste takes crusty hardcore punk n’ roll and marries it wonderfully with noise rock. The six tracks on No Innocence are incredibly fierce and well written with not only the two genres at play....

Dawn 01:28
I've been dreaming so long of ideals that in the end turned out to be fake now I woke up slowly and this holy pre-built reality continues to fade My compass collapsed and I woke up screaming I've been throwing myself away All that I could have done All that I might have been doesn't change the one that I am now But sometimes I think I could be better now If somebody'd told me How to stay awake It's not that I'm looking for someone to blame but you weighed me to sleep with prayers that made me fear
2.
Roads I drove for centuries paved with memories the pavement is slowly disrupting it wouldn't hold my weight like a kid who lost it's innocence I stand here with hollow eyes trying to grasp what I am I repeat (it all it all over again) I forget (It all over again) Repeat.

No Innocence 01:47
There's no innocence our apathy is violent we know about our actions we are guilty of everything eyes opened, a pale face hat dropped, prone sideways never seen someone so alone stare into space, avoid a glance don't you feel guilty of everything? don't you? the sickness is inside all of you there's no innocence our apathy is violent we are guilty of everything how can you sleep?
5.
Blood on my hands I wash it away with blood I make the same decisions and mark them in my skin there is a man without a name I just take the hourglass and turn it one more time before everything gets dark again and I get eventually sane
6.
Dusk 03:47
In patience it's waiting the past coated its relics in white here I was born and here I will die Nothingness is what I hear wisdom makes its final sigh the fields of passage is where I lie here I was born and here I will die

about

Wayste Leipzig, Germany

Wayste is a hardcore punk band from Leipzig, Germany. Without submitting to genre specific boundaries the trio provides a broad spectrum between dark hardcore and blueslike riffs. Fast moving and aggressive, but surprisingly melodic at times the music keeps its experimental character by being unpredictive, but on point when it has to be.
